SMS stands for Short Message Service. It's a powerful technology that people use
to send short text messages from a phone or computer to a wireless phone. SMS has been
exploding around the world, in large part because the messages are sent and received
almost instantly. For golfers, these messages are great for urgent messages such
as course closures due to bad weather, reminders of club events, and any other news that
you want to make sure your members know about.
SMS messages are very cost effective compared to traditional forms of marketing and
communication, and billions of them are sent every day. Most of your members already
have wireless phones and use SMS, according to the latest studies. To learn more

A content management system, or CMS, is a system used to manage a web site. Typically,
it helps non-technical users to make changes to a web site, as well as uploading new photos
and documents.
Site Caddy is an example of a CMS, but it is also much more. Site Caddy's powerful
messaging features make it a complete communications tool for golfers. And Site Caddy
can be used in place of a web site by smaller clubs and societies. So what is Site
Caddy? It's a tool that helps your golf club harness the power of the Internet.
