Latest News and Features
The Site Caddy team strive to continually upgrade the usefullness of the service, and new features, improvements and fixes are added every month.  And since Site Caddy is a totally web based service, clients don't need to do anything to take advantage of these new features- they are automatically available the next time you log on!
Resize Photos for Galleries (April, 2006)
More often than not, the photos your digital camera produces need to be resized before using on your web pages.  Site Caddy now lets users resize their photos before uploading to their galleries.  This makes it quicker for your members to view photos, easier for them to see them, and takes up less room in your locker.

Use Site Caddy to Confirm Reservations (Coming Soon)
Soon Site Caddy users will be able to send members a link to a confirmation page.  Once there, they will be able to RSVP for rounds and events, post comments, number of guests and more.  Administrators can check the confirmation list for each event, complete with details on which members will and will not be attending.

New Service: Intelligent Import (September, 2004)
Sending text messages and e-mails to your members is one of Site Caddy's most powerful features.  But for bigger clubs, it can take time to enter member details into the system.  Now with our "Intelligent Import" feature, you can import all your members' contact information with the press of a button.  All popular handicap database formats will eventually be supported.

New Service: SMS Text Messaging (December, 2003)
We're very excited about our latest feature: SMS Text Messaging.  For those unfamiliar with this technology, text messages are brief messages sent (nearly) instantly to anyone with a mobile/cellular phone.  These can be very useful for urgent announcements, such as course closures or delays due to inclement weather.  With Site Caddy, you wont even have to leave your house to contact every member of your club!

New Feature: Member Groups (December, 2003)
Organize your members into groups for easy messaging.  For example, you can create a group named "Ladies" and then add all female members to that group.  Anytime there is a need to contact all ladies at your club, it will only take a moment to send an e-mail or text message to the "Ladies" group.

New Feature: Calendar Application (October, 2003)

We are currently developing an online calendar that clubs can use to keep track of bookings, notes and more.  And since it's online all the time, it can be shared among your staff.  Make certain bookings "public" and your members can use the calendar of the year's events and fixtures on your site.

Look for the calendar feature to be available in January, 2004.

Color Coded Results Available (May, 2003)

Applying different colors to various prizes is a good way to identify different "groups" among your results.  For example, all nett results could be one color and all gross results coule be another.  Take a look at the following sample, which you can click on to enlarge:

Build Fixture Listing - Linked to Results (May, 2003)

Definitely the most requested item of early 2003, clients can now build schedules/fixture listings with Site Caddy.  More importantly, the scheduled events are automatically linked to the corresponding result once the tournament has been played.

In other words, clubs can enter all scheduled events for the upcoming year and "convert" them to results as the events are played.  Members can look through the schedule of events and click on links next to each of the tournaments that have been played to see the corresponding scores.

New Results Addition Sequence (May, 2003)
In an attempt to make things even simpler yet, a new "Step by Step" system has been created for entering results.  This has streamlined the process and should make adding results faster, as well as more clear.
